About Project

CinemaKit is a professional camera app for capturing cinema-quality RAW video on iPhone and Android. It records the sensor's raw Bayer data uncompressed, in Magic Lantern Video (.mlv) format, .CKRAW, .MCRAW and CinemaDNG sequence. Export also available for those who prefer it. Capture depth ranges from 8 to 14 bits, with support for Open Gate and crop sensor modes, and a full set of Log profiles - LogC3, S-Log3, V-Log, F-Log, F-Log C, HLG, and PQ - for a flat, gradable image straight out of the camera. The same RAW pipeline can also be debayered on the fly and encoded to 4:2:2/4:4:4 ProRes or HEVC on iOS, giving a ready-to-share file alongside the raw capture. Beyond capture, CinemaKit includes a color grading panel with contrast, exposure, white balance, and LUT support for both MLV and mov footage, plus Gyroflow integration that embeds gyroscope data during recording for later stabilization. A built-in file server turns the phone into a network drive while the app is open, reachable at any computer on the same network, and a built-in player allows captured footage to be reviewed on-device, with individual frames exportable as DNG stills. CinemaKit is a one-time purchase with no subscription, and comes with a 7-day trial.
